[ It's the last day when all three moons are out - Sanguis, Cordis, and Iris. As such, Weiss' mischievous side is in full bloom. As is her hair - most of it having turned into feathers and down. The feathers on her arm have begun to shed, at least. She only has a little bit now.

It's that mischievous and amorous side of her that's come to play. And perhaps she's feeling a little needy, too. She thinks about Cloud for some reason. Her body reminds her of him, and it's due to that reminder that she ends up getting a little playful.

This is basically something she'd never do were she feeling more herself. ]

[ Last night was about as close to an awakening as Cloud was going to get. He'd neglected everything but those aggressive, territorially violent impulses during his first Sanguis cycle. Even on the first day of the three moons sharing the same sky, his aggression took front and centre when he fought an infuriatingly alluring Cordis... As jarring (and enticing) as it was at first, losing himself to that spark as the fire inside him reached a fever pitch, he's spent most of his final day alone.

He's content, albeit still on high alert; the key difference between the Sanguis cycle and the end of the trio of moons...was that he's come to understand (and almost entirely accept) those feelings he stamped down in his own uncertainty. Blood, sweat, every sinful alluring scent that he became very acquainted with was still fresh and very vivid in his mind. Something that made it very difficult to keep a clear head as he's prepared to head back to his apartment. If he was going to be a heat-driven mess, he may as well do so in the privacy of his own abode and- ]

[ Seeing Weiss' message temporarily sobers his thoughts. Marie had warned him of what can happen to everyone during the Triple Moon Cycle... He'd spent his time fighting with himself for most of it that he'd nearly forgotten about how everyone else was dong. He hasn't seen her since the party, and although this wasn't her first "rodeo" per se, he could have at least sent her a message and see how she was doing.

...shame that he wasn't sure if she'd answer him after the end of their "game" before. He stops to lean against the wall in the hallway leading to his apartment, his wolf ears perking up atop his head. ]

[ "Kid?" At first, he's not certain as to who this is. Between the Sanguis moon (and the couple of people he fought then) and even his tussle with a Cordis guy (who really liked his hot dogs) during the three moons, there are many he's crossed fists and swords with at this point. But when he looks at the username...for some reason it doesn't really fit the bill of anyone else he knows. He thinks back to the tournament. Not Weiss. Didn't seem like Samus. Definitely not Videl— ]

[ He went by the name of "Kumo" at the time. And he's remembering the very vivid battle he had with another swordsman. At the time, it was anybody's call as to who would emerge victorious. But he still remembers the excitement that flowed through his veins as their steel rang across the arena. He knows who this is. His impulse is to tell the guy he put up a decent fight. But he backspaces. Not that what he would have said would be an insult. But... Kaelas deserved more. ]

[ When Sephiroth's voice comes through the bracer, there's an initial pause on the blond's end. Their departure from the temple as the Moonblessed and Moon Knights arrested (and fell) the cultists was nothing short of rocky. He'd stayed behind with Tifa for a while, only to be split up and joining a couple of others in the skirmish and battles.

And then there was the other revelation that marks the back of his hand. Luckily, his gloves cover that little incident up for the time being.

Although to be honest, Panty's been more abrasive than usual the past couple days - booting 'guests' (read: one night stands) out the door ASAP once the deed is done, dribbling poor Chuck down the hallway more often than usual, so on and so forth. A lot like a tightly wound spring, she's not quite sure what to do with all this pent up energy and restlessness.

Seems like a cold shower after giving another hapless schmuck the boot hasn't helped much either. She sounds just as irritated as before as she kicks the bathroom door shut behind her, a towel wrapped around her head (unusual, considering normally she'd just let her hair air dry) and the usual shorts/tank top combo keeping her decent for once. ]

[ The impromptu Sköll demonstration had been, if one pressured him to admit it, a lot of fun. He's used to long stretches of highway and is more than capable of pushing these kinds of machines past their limits. Without Fenrir, things would have been far more difficult in his attempts to stop the Remnants months ago. For the most part, it's been a rather smooth start to the month. A calmer cycle as far as Sanguis was concerned. Even if there was something persistently nagging at the back of his mind.

...and now, it'd remain forever unsolved. Upon the realization that a certain silver-haired swordsman mysterious departed from this world, a sense of dread and guilt crept up on him. The latter left him angry with himself. He shouldn't have felt this way about the man, but he never even had a chance to properly reveal the truth to him. It wasn't fair...bringing back the dead, but also those he once admired and respected. And to think, if he ever saw him again... ]

[ He may never have the chance to set things straight. Cloud just might be crossing swords with him rather than rallying beside him. On one hand, it's a tension off his shoulders. But another one is swift to take its place. The fear of him coming back. Needless to say, deep into the Sanguis cycle, these thoughts and more restless nights have begun taking their toll on his psyche.

His schedule was freed up after handling business deals and visiting Marie the other day for her birthday. Whatever this haze of aggravation was hanging over his head, he needed to dispel it and fast. Sephiroth was the past. He would forever stay in the past. There was no need to worry about him coming back. There's other things to worry about, in the present. Here and now. Damn it...! ]

[ Oh, he's well aware of what she's referring to. But he's not about to answer that rhetorical question of hers either. Why did she even bother? The guy who stumbled out of the apartment earlier was telling enough. She has a...habit- if he could put it in the most polite way possible.

[ Whereas the younger Tohsaka woman was more used to dealing with her plethora of Sanguis-blessed, Cloud's own transformation had taken a particular turn. The moon that was once so vivid in its blood red nature, now holds a surreal emerald glow. The sweltering rage, the urge to dominate, and the compulsion to scratch a more intimate itch...pretty much close to gone. Beyond gaining a few inches in height once more, his eyes had taken on a more draconic appearance with markings around them. However, that same soft glow of mako-infused blue was still intact.

His mood has changed too, which admittedly was at odds with the swordsman's earlier feelings. It was only just yesterday that he discovered that Zack was gone. And while his roommate had helped (actually helped. wow,) in removing some of the sting from this loss, his newfound draconic spirit was at odds with his prior mood. Instead, it culminates in the Sanguis-blessed blond's disposition becoming rather calm. Smiling to himself as he places a hand over his heart as he walks and reflects upon the memories that he made. Amegahara, even getting a chance to see him again... Panty was right. Make every moment count, for however long they had. It's bittersweet, but he agrees with her.

Despite how last night ended (who knew two dragons would cause a huge Chroma boost?), Cloud was currently mid-thought in what he could do to repay her properly when a voice cuts through his mind.

That explains why she would occasionally come up beside him and chatter away about some dumb topic the past couple of weeks; just arbitrarily eyeballing measurements for the shop would've been way more difficult.

The second package is way, way heavier. And huge. And pretty goddamn awkward to lug around do you have any idea what a shitshow wrapping this was?????? Motherfucker, you'd better appreciate all this effort!
Once the paper comes off, it'll be a very fancy display/shadowbox. More to the point, Panty's already managed to wrestle Zack's Buster Sword inside (which absolutely explains why it's one heavy son of a bitch).

[ Using this time when the Sanguis moon wasn't in play to polish his swordsmanship, focusing on movements over exploring techniques or raw power, he's worked up a bit of a sweat over the past couple of hours out by himself. So when he gets a notification on his device, his wrist vibrating, he decides it's a good enough time to call it a night. His breath is cool on the crisp night air, not quite used to pushing himself and training in the snowy conditions.

Sheathing his two swords with a heated sigh, Cloud rolls a shoulder before checking the message. It comes from Neo, so he's expecting something simple or a greeting. Well. He got a greeting. And if he was expecting a question, this wasn't how he was expecting to get it. ]
