[ He keeps to his silence when she proceeds to explain. As of right now, Cloud is more intent on keeping her preoccupied. Something must have happened to her, either to seek him out or happening upon him by accident. Especially when she sighs before explaining the rules of the magi. The solution to preventing the secret from getting out? Kill the source of said leak! Who would have thought? ...okay, Cloud would have, but he wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Though...given everything that Marie's told him, the young swordsman can't help but frown. There's a lot of good to come from Chaldea's efforts. But the original sequence of Holy Grail Wars...
