Sure thing. [ Cloud's not even going to argue that point. At least she's not the only one blushing stupid. He tugs enough of the bed sheets loose so that she can get to cleaning herself up whenever she's ready. ]

Help yourself. ... Probably gonna need to take one too.

[ Weiss is slow in cleaning herself, but she gets the job done, anyway. She doesn't look at him at all, not even sure what to say to him at this point.

Thank you? What— no... that's dumb, and she's not going to thank him for the sex?? But it also feels cold to not... acknowledge it or anything.

When she gets up, she uses the sheets to cover herself even though he's practically seen her naked already. ]

[ He's more or less letting the moment sink in. What they've done. What vivid imagery was going to be difficult to get out of his head on the frequent. It wasn't possible to just 'turn off' his relatively new Sanguis changes. Like the scent of her pheromones, the smell of sweat and sex and the effect it's all having on his mind. There was a couple of moments where he felt like he was going to lose complete control of himself, driven mad by her.

But he held fast, took things slow for her first time. Was he satisfied? Yes. Did he still want more?

If you wanna shower, it's just down the hall. First door on your left.

[ She picks up her clothes too, because she intends to put them back on after the shower. It's fine if she'll sleep wearing them... She can't exactly sleep naked.

Weiss is out the door before Cloud knows it, and she doesn't dawdle outside and heads straight for the bathroom. There's a lot she needs to think about right now, and she wants to be alone when she does it. Because- okay. She just—she just had sex. It was good. And she's not going to announce it to the whole world or anything, but she does feel pretty proud of herself for not backing out when she could have.

She still feels nervous now, even as hot water splashes from the shower head. It's supposed to calm her down, and she's trying to stay calm. What's constant in her thoughts are what just happened in the other room though, and she finds herself biting her lower lip because she's... smiling? Gross. ]

[ When Weiss is out of view, Cloud falls back on the bed with an unceremonious flop. Staring up at the ceiling for half a moment or so, he closes his eyes with a sigh through his nose. Calm down, he tells himself. These past couple of nights have been an eye opener for him. There's still a part of him that was afraid of these lupine, feral instincts that threatened to take him over.

The fear of losing his true sense of self was rooted deep into his past. He didn't want to be this blood crazed fighter who practically felt like howling at the moon. It's such a drastic change from the person he's been before- from the reasons why he fought in the first place. While he doesn't regret what he's done during these overlapping moons, he still finds himself questioning just how much of this was what he wanted. Would he have made these choices himself- so quickly? Or was he being goaded like everyone else?

Was any of this a mistake? ]

[ He hears a laugh, faint in his head from the time she giggled at his answer about making stars rain down. Bits and pieces of the time they spent together wash across his mind's eye, their sighs in the still of night as Iris cast its affectionate glow upon the world. And how none of it had anything to do with twisting his impulses by the light of his moon.

No. It wasn't a mistake.

Cloud opens his eyes, his heightened hearing picking up the sound of rushing water from down the hall. Ah, that's right. Weiss was using his shower, probably washing off the sweat and euphoric mess he made of her. As that thought invades his head, he grunts and sits upright, trying to shake it off. But it all keeps coming back, the thought of those hands of hers roaming her wet body, slowly stroking and cleansing herself of what Cloud did to her. Marked her as his. The next sigh that leaves his lips comes off more heated than irritated, but it sparks the memories of Weiss moaning in his ear, whispering his name, growing louder and louder until it all came to an end with a flush, bewildered woman covered in his cum— ]

For as long as the water continues beating down, so too would the night, beneath the influence and glow of the light in which they've been "blessed". ]
