[Thankfully, with Cloud's help no less, Usagi's Iris' cycles are far less intense and embarrassing. Thaaat said....

The knock on his apartment door is right on time. When he eventually opens the door, Usagi will be there only with a scarf around her head? She'll explain once she's let in.]

[ Cloud's grateful he's got the apartment to himself this time around. Though he wonders if he's going to come over to visit Usagi at her place rather than the other way around more. She was always welcome, but explaining his "angel" of a roommate? Yeah he'll...cross that bridge when they get there. It's only been less than two weeks and he's somewhat gotten used to it. Still, the apartment is, once again, spotless, knowing he would be having company soon.

The knock comes as Iris' light spreads across the city, and he's there to answer her. His expression softens upon seeing her. He refused to let their lives be a complicated mess here. She could count on him. He wants her to. ]

Hey, U...sa...?

[ He's curious! And of course, he shuffles to the side so she can come in. ]

The scarf's new.

[She quickly comes in and waits for the door to be closed. She's blushing as undos the knot under her chin. As she does so, two long white rabbit ears spring up from atop her head, seated squarely atop her head. They droop as she can't really look at anything but the floor, he may notice there is a fluffy white cottontail just at the small of her back on her tail bone as well.]

T-These popped up this morning....

[ He blinks when she unties the knot supporting the scarf atop her head. What could cause her to take such an odd approach? Was this some way of showing it off? A gift for him? The cogs in his head continued to turn until the veil falls away. And he sees the long, white rabbit ears flop down while she's looking at the floor. ]

Usagi??

[ Bright, mako-infused blues widen at the sight. First with shock, then in the next second? A sense of wonder. His curiosity does indeed get the better of him as he steps around her side to spot the fluffy puff of a tail, his line of sight being drawn to the transformation her body's made. ]

.....

[ Sucks that she's looking down at the moment, because Cloud was about to take advantage of that and lift one of his hands up to gently feel up one of those rabbit ears of hers. Considering how almost every time his cycle came around, he had those lupine traits to him, he's used to alterations. But, ]

It finally happened, huh?

[ ~~She's fulfilling her destiny. ... rub rub.~~ ]

[When he rubs her ears, a long, sensual moan escapes her lips and her eyes widen as she clamps her hands over her mouth.

Well, THAT was new. She's now going from a soft red on her cheeks to the blush going down her neck to her shoulders and back up to her ears, even her rabbit ears seem to be blushing a bit.]

That... I didn't mean to make that noise.

[ He may have stopped rubbing her ear when that long, enthralled moan slips, but that didn't mean he quite let go either. Cloud's not an idiot, nor was he about to try and drill on what was wrong out of the blue. That being said, his cheeks are going to take on that soft red she's bumped up a few levels from. ]

U-Uh... [ Awkward? Honestly, somewhat. If only because it was so out of the blue. At the same time, he doesn't seem to mind it either. There's a slightly apologetic look on his face, but he's not going to verbalize it. Essentially? "Sorry not sorry" for that one.

Instead, he sighs softly, half smiling as if thinking to himself what he was going to do with her. ]

Huh. So that's your weak spot too. [ His might not be as sensitive or stimulating (then again, Usagi was an Iris, so...), but when he had his wolf ears and anyone rubbed them? Cloud was a little embarrassed by the way his foot reflexively thumped on the ground. Either way? She has sensitive ears. ...duly noted. For now he lets go of her ear. ]

T-Too! What's that supposed to mean! A-Actually no, don't answer that. [She has many weakspots in the bedroom, her wrists, the backs of her knees, her neck to name just a few. So yes, ears are now a "too." She clears her throat.]

Do- do they look bad? [She didn't want to be uncute! Or worse! Ugly with them.]

[ Cloud, meanwhile, does what he usually does and rubs the back of his head. They had to get a hold of themselves here. ...to a certain extent. When he first arrived here, the prospect of inviting someone to his place for a cuddle session (or either moon struck the two of them something fierce the right way,) would have been jarring. So much has happened since they awoke in this world, far removed from what they knew. A lot has changed too. Like how content he was around her.

Holding her close during the Iris cycle and the warmth that spread through him, Chroma flowing so rich between them... In the end, this was about doing their best, and making every day count while they looked out for each other. His door and arms were open to her. When she asks if they look bad, he's a little taken aback. He can't help huffing a little, shaking his head.

Another thing that's changed is that, in various ways, he's become a little more honest with himself. ]

They kinda suit you.

[She's going to take that invitation for the moment and was quick to hide her face in his chest, her ears drooping a bit, and her nose wiggled.]

It's... it's some sorta mean joke. I'm glad they're not tentacles, but now I'm an actual rabbit! What if I turn into a full bunny?

[ When Usagi's light weight rests against his larger build, his arms drape themselves around her while she hides her face in his chest. Despite the color that gradually starts to build in his cheeks, Cloud almost starts to laugh despite the softening expression on his face. One hand raises up to the back of her head, holding her against his chest as he takes in her scent. ]

... We talking a regular sized bunny or an Usagi-sized bunny?

[ Cloud. One can practically hear the smirk in his voice. Sometimes she made it too easy. But it was just another way of showing just how much more open he's become. Not just around her, but people in general. ]

[A small whimper.] Oh my god, a me sized bunny would be so uncute! I don't wanna be uncute! But if I turn full bunny... Clooooud! [She whined, finally looking up at him with tears in her eyes.] What if someone kidnaps me while I'm in bunny form! I can't escape as a bunny!

[ There's a brief moment wherein he's caught off guard when she looks up to him with tears in her eyes. She wears her heart on her sleeve, and despite how cute this all was, he was alright with settling down on the teasing front for her. ]

Then I'll just have to take you back. [ A beat. ] If I even let that happen.

[Her ears perked and she looked up at him.]

What do you mean? You'd keep me safe if I went full bunny?

Mm.

[ He nods. Full bunny, half-bunny, Usagi, Sailor Moon, Princess Serenity... ]

[She lets out a little sigh of relief and hugs onto him a bit tighter.]

Well, good. [It was all she could really think to say before she looked back up. And she blushed and bit her lip. She looked down again and while she knew he likely wouldn't care, she also wondered.] Do... I still look pretty? [So YES, she knew that ears and a tail did not ugly make, for some quite the opposite, but it's not like she's had EARS before. She's already got a lot going on at the top of her head, and sometimes even a girl like her needs reassurances.]

[ Usagi's arms wrapping around him so tight leaves him feeling that intimate warmth of Chroma, flowing smoothly through him. This feeling was contagious, granted it was difficult not to want to hold her back when she's gotten like this. When her question breaches the stillness of his apartment, he draws back just a little bit, arms still settled around her waist.

Until he raises one hand up to tilt her chin up to match his gaze. ]

Yeah. [ Normally Cloud might have danced around the question a little bit or asked her what kind of question that was in the first place. But sometimes, it paid to be direct and honest. He's confident enough to say it without any hesitation. The ears made her cuter. ] You're still Usagi.

[ He might not be the kind of guy to flat-out say "you're beautiful" to someone, but there's a certain softness to his voice that definitely implies it. ]

[Well, for Cloud, that was quite the compliment. She let out a soft breath.]

Can... [Well, Usagi was always one to say what she wanted when it came to physical affection, the ears and tail should make her stop now.] Can we cuddle? [She looked up at him.] Besides, I kinda... need to know how I'm affected by these things and I want to do it with someone who I can trust. [And if they happen to induce... a very intensive heat, someone who could also handle, well, that.]

[ His eyes broaden a little when Usagi asks if they can cuddle. This wasn't the first time he's helped her stave her impulses, and while she was the one who usually initiated their affectionate embraces... ]

Mm. [ And just to exemplify this point further, he closes whatever little distance they pulled between each other to pull her against his chest again. She's quite warm to him. A hand moves up her back towards her head, letting her rest against his larger frame. The couch or his bedroom would be their next destination, really. But until then... ] I'm not going anywhere.

[ Cuddle him up, Usagi. He'll follow your lead. ]

[Well, all good cuddling should start with a hug. They're doing that now, so the next thing is a kiss. She pulls him down as her lips catch his, her hands running through his hair. Her actions are slow, long, and leisurely. She is not filled to the brim with heat and the need to take or be taken. This is just happiness at his presence, at his strong arms around her. Usagi pulls away and then takes his hand, taking him to the couch and sits down, pulling him to sit beside her.]

[ The warmth that spreads through his body when Usagi's lips capture his comes in waves. Slow, pleasant, comforting... He's here for her, but Moonlacing made this kind of intimacy more mainstay in his life. Of course he was the one who said that whenever Usagi needed him, he'd be there. And he meant it. When the shorter blonde draws away, he almost finds himself leaning in as if to catch her again.

Realizing it, his cheeks flush in his own impatience as she guides him towards the couch. When they reach the couch, Cloud's hand is already settled on her knee as he's leaned in close against her side. The Chroma he feels, be it what he's giving or what she's receiving, leaves him more comfortable than before. Careful, careful. She might eventually wind in his lap at this rate as he plants a kiss to the side of her head. ]

[When he kisses her head, she smiles at him. She moves again to catch his lips, his mouth. The kiss is deep but simple, slow. There is no rush, not right now. She loses track of how long she's been kissing him... and how she ended up straddling his lap with her hands in his hair, pressed tightly against him.

She pants when they part for air, gently nosing his cheek as she lightly scratches her nails along his scalp, smiling. Her ears are pressed back against her head, and she rests her head on his shoulder.]

[ When Usagi's nails trail along his scalp, a longer sigh escapes his lips as his cheeks subtly light up with red. A certain someone liked having their hair played with, it seems like. His arms are settled around the smaller blonde's waist as he lounges back so that she can better perch herself in his lap.

He's tempted to play with her ears again, even after her initial reaction with how sensitive they were to his touch. And maybe, he keeps it in mind for later as he finds himself smiling, reveling in her warmth and comfort of her light weight in his lap. ]

...they are pretty cute.

[She shifted and rested her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes as she kept scratching his scalp. She opened an eye when he spoke and her ears perked up of their own accord.]

They're only temporary or at least... they only show up for the Iris cycle. I'm glad they're not permanent, to be honest, cute or not.

Yeah... Fun as having wolf ears can be, I like...y'know. Having my own ears.

[ But that meant he simply had to make it count when they had them, right? A hand glides up the small of Usagi's back, in a more tender caress. Higher and higher until his fingertips find the edges of her bunny ears. ]

Soft...

[As his hand travels up, she sighs in content. When his fingers gently brush her ears she shivers and a soft noise comes from her throat.]

That feels... really nice. It's like I can feel it all down my spine.
