[ Cloud's experience within Lightless was something of a mixed bag. On one hand, it was his very first mission upon arriving, filled with drinks that left him in a myriad of humiliating states. On the other hand, it's also the very same place that he met the same girl currently cozied up to his side right now. Mysteries of the planet only grew deeper and deeper, with no end in sight. But there in the dark is where his attachment to this world would begin, despite his initial grievances. But at the same time, it's not all that bad. Only half aware of the fact the film was coming to a close, it's when she pulls away slightly that he scoots himself up in his own seat.

His back arches, exhaling as his shoulders roll back. That was...extremely relaxing, film notwithstanding. Fighting a yawn, it fails as she asks if he wants to stay for the credits. There were some that were already getting up to leave. While he ultimately only found himself mildly interested in this film, it's not something he's in a hurry to go back and see again. He glances down at her with a shrug. ]

I ain't picky. [ A beat. ] Do you?

[schmisse]

It's really cold, [ she says with a soft laugh. She wants to go out into the streets again where it's warm!!

Her pheromones seemed to have died down some, at least, but that doesn't really take away how strong they were earlier. For now, while waiting for Cloud's approval, she faces forward and stretches her legs. ]

Sorry, I'll be more prepared next time.

[ Even if this was an impromptu thing and all! She knows she was a little bit of an inconvenience. ]

[ That's about as good an answer as any for Cloud! He does the same thing as Weiss and stretches his legs, arms stretched over his head, face scrunching slightly. If they were just starting to watch the movie, it would have looked like the biggest pro gamer move attempt to stretch and put an arm over her shoulders. But another trope is dodged as Cloud blinks over to her when she apologizes for her lack of preparation. ]

...?

[ He's confused. Yes, he got flustered when she started to curl herself up against him and lightly tease him, but he never once shied away from her either. Pheromones testing his patience aside, today was filled with plenty of surprises. None of which were bad at all. In fact, it's the kind of leisurely day that he didn't get much of a chance to do back home. All this time spent fighting or rebuilding his life with a new family, and it's a new world and an icy huntress that was giving him a chance to experience new things. A taste of a normal day - a normal life... ]

I had fun today, [ he suddenly speaks up, leaning forward in his seat a little with a shy smile. The last thing Weiss was to him was an inconvenience. ] Thank you.

[ There's little time to let this moment sink in however, as Cloud decides to take the initiative and hops straight out of his seat, feeling surprisingly energized after all that Chroma and kicking back for however long that movie was. He waits for her to join him. ]

So what now?

Thanks for coming down here. I had fun, too.

[ Weiss gets up when Cloud does, too. She'll be the one to get out first and head outside, eager for air that isn't freezing. When Cloud asks what to do next, she's not sure what to even say. A part of her feels like she's taken up so much of his time already, but another part of her wants more of it.

The silence she gives him is probably a little awkward. While mulling over saying what she wants or just keeping it to herself, her eyes are on the floor, looking at her feet. ]

Is it— [ Okay? No, that's not how she wants to say it. That's not how she would normally say it. And gosh, this wouldn't be the first time she's asked for someone's time. Cordis seems to boost her confidence though. When she looks back up at him, her eyes seem expectant. It's not teasing, like when she tried to get him to deliver food to her for free, but... hopeful? Yeah, that's the word for it. ]

Walk me back home? [ All said with a little tilt of her head to the side. One foot is tiptoed, ankle swaying back and forth. Is she trying to be cute on purpose? That's definitely the goal here... ]

[ As Cloud follows her outside, he decides to leave what little popcorn was left behind. Did he even finish his drink? ...who cares. They've got clean-up crews (or was it the droids?) to handle that. Before they step out of the dark theater and into the lobby, the blond also makes sure to re-zip back up his vest. Because whoops nobody has to get an extra flash of pec thank you. ]

Hm? [ His steps slow when he just barely passes Weiss, only just realizing she's got her gaze fixated on the floor and her feet. He turns halfway, a hand on his hip as he patiently waits to know what she wants to do. When she doesn't answer him at first, he's just about to speak up to ask if something's wrong when she looks up at him again. And damn it that look nearly kills him.

Maybe it's because of the time they spent in the theatre just now (of course not to discount all these months before), but that subtle head tilt gets to him. He can't place his finger on just what he's supposed to feel right now, but it's enough to get the hairs on the back of his neck standing up, and his face to subtly flush.

Cute, Cloud. The answer you're looking for is cute. She's doing it on purpose. And you're a sucker for falling for it. ... tch, like she even needed to do that to get him in the first place. ]

Why not?

[ With that cleared up, Cloud is quick to get his composure back. He's been here long enough that he's got a good idea of how to get back to Middle Lunatia from here. ...oh well. Even if they got lost, that just meant an extra ten to twenty-ish minutes of detouring, right? He's in no hurry to lead, so when she's ready to mosey, he'll be at her side. ]

Let's go.

[ She is 100% ready to mosey and get out of here. Along the way, maybe a couple of blocks past the movie theatre, she gets the urge to... well, eat something again. She's sure she's stocked a good amount of Chroma already, but she's also hungry... And cold. Cold more than hungry, really, so she opts for a white chocolate mocha, instead. Once again, Cloud's sleeve is tugged into an establishment where she gets him to buy her a cup of coffee. :)

Fortunately, there aren't much distractions along the way to Upper Lunatia. Food stalls and beverage stands were everywhere, but closer to the residential district, there weren't that many. Plus the sun's gone down and she wants to have dinner at home... She's pretty tuckered out from socialising, to be honest, but she had a lot of fun today.

She doesn't tell Cloud to stop at the lobby this time, even completely forgetting about what she thinks her teammates would say if they saw Weiss with someone. Eh, it doesn't matter. Today, she's mostly not conscious of the things she gets up to, and that's... good?

Once they get to the door, Weiss turns to face Cloud again. She's already thanked him for, well, the day, but... it just feels like something she should bring up again. ]

Let's go for yoghurt again when all the moons are out?

[ Well, that's one way of saying she had a good time. :) And they're totally just hanging out. Not a deito. ]

[ When he gets tugged indoors to get her a white chocolate mocha, there's little to no resistance on his part. Cloud couldn't help suppressing the urge to laugh when he was reminded of the hunger of a Cordis. He's got plenty of Chroma to work with anyways. And it's not like what they were buying from food stalls and beverage stands wasn't expensive. The blond's own batteries were starting to dwindle too. After working all day, then spending the rest of the afternoon and earlier evening with Weiss, he's admittedly ready to put his feet up for once.

...even if there's plenty of paperwork to go through. At first he's expecting her to stop him at the lobby again, but when they just keep going without a word about it? He looks visibly confused behind her back as he follows her up to her apartment's front door. Luckily that's gone by the time she decides to turn around and face him again. For a while now, it feels like he was following her like some kind of lost puppy- though it's more her Cordis pheromones talking. He can only imagine the...challenges he'd face if all the moons were out when-- ]

All three? [ He blinks down at her, hand on his hip as he briefly hums about it. ] Ah, sure. What's the harm?

[ His tone is light when he asks that rhetorical question. What could go wrong? Besides being a Sanguis-blessed wolf man with a heightened sense of smell following a Cordis around all day— /// Cloud wasn't going to bring attention to it, and he's effectively told her 'yes'. So...guess it was just another 'challenge' he'd face in the future. :') ]

We'll see about that.

[ If she buys, she buys. No hard feelings if he winds up catching a couple bills along the way? ]

Oh— [ Weiss didn't even realise. But Cloud seems fine with it, so it's okay, right?? Besides, what's the worst that could happen?

Hmm... 🤔 ]

I'll text you, then. Thanks... for today.

[ The door is already half open, so she just... slips in further. No kiss to end the day? Nnnope. None for now.

But once Cloud's left? She's going to rest her back on the door and heave out a sigh. She feels different today. She's happy, but it's not something she knows, herself. Ah...

She'll just take a sip of her coffee and get ready to end the day. ]

Yeah... [ He nods. ] You too, Weiss.

[ Once she's slipped in through the doorway, he almost feels reluctant to leave. Just before she can close the doorway, he half smiles and tells her, ]

Good night.

[ Click. The second it shuts, he suddenly feels a weight in his chest, the smile on his lips faltering. And for a moment, he almost forgets what to do with himself. Was it the Cordis moon and her pheromones messing with him? ...no- not entirely. But he needs to clear his head because it's been in a pleasant haze for quite some time now. ]

... Uh...?

[ What the- when did his fingertips start resting against the door? Like he was on the brink of knocking. The realization causes him to blush as he shakes his head with a sigh, and quietly turns to take his leave. He's gone now, making his way back home. By the time Cloud gets in the front door, whether Panty was there or not, he decides to retire early for the evening, collapsing on his bed while he stares up at his ceiling.

...

Y'know. When everything was said and done... Cloud was happy too. ...just might need to take a shower to cool off after miraculously handling Cordis pheromones all day. ]
